Posts on a personal LinkedIn profile, with images, video, documents, polls or a link card.

Files

Type	Rules
Images (JPEG, PNG, GIF)	Up to 20 per post. Max about 36 megapixels each.
Video (MP4)	1 per post, on its own. From 3 seconds to 30 minutes.
Document (PDF)	1 per post, on its own. Published as a swipeable document.

Options

Send these in channels[].options.

Key	Type	What it does
`visibility`	choice	`PUBLIC` (default) or `CONNECTIONS`.
`document_title`	text	Title shown under a PDF, up to 100 characters. Default: the file name.
`poll_question`	text	The poll question, up to 140 characters.
`poll_options`	list	2 to 4 answers, 30 characters each.
`poll_duration`	choice	`ONE_DAY`, `THREE_DAYS`, `SEVEN_DAYS` (default) or `FOURTEEN_DAYS`.
`article_url`	url	Publishes the post as a link card.
`article_title`	text	Headline of the link card, up to 400 characters. Needs `article_url`.
`article_description`	text	Line under the headline, up to 4,086 characters. Needs `article_url`.
`article_thumbnail`	media	Image for the link card (JPEG, PNG or GIF). Needs `article_url`.

A post can have one of these: files, a poll, or a link card. Not two.

Good to know

LinkedIn does not read the linked page for you. Without article_title, the card only shows the address. Without article_thumbnail, it has no image.
A poll needs both poll_question and poll_options.
